In the City of Wadsworth, the Director of Public Service also serves as the Director of the Office of Cable Communication. 7.  Planning and code enforcement (building and zoning).
8.  Public buildings and park maintenance.
9.  Construction, maintenance and repair of streets, storm drain and sidewalks.
10.  Cable television.

Employees of the Service Director's Office are able to provide vital statistics consisting of birth or death certificates for persons born or deceased in Wadsworth.

Reservations for park shelters, permits for zoning, building and sanitary sewer connections are also obtained at the Service Director's Office.
