THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICEIn the City of Wadsworth, the Director of Public Service also serves as the Director of the Office of Cable Communication. The Director's office is located on the second floor of City Hall at 120 Maple Street. The direct line phone number is 335-2707. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Director of Public Service is responsible for the following divisions:
2. Water supply, treatment and distribution. 3. Wastewater collection and treatment. 4. Solid waste collection and disposal. 5. Utility billing. 6. Engineering. 7. Planning and code enforcement (building and zoning). 8. Public buildings and park maintenance. 9. Construction, maintenance and repair of streets, storm drain and sidewalks. 10. Cable television. Employees of the Service Director's Office are able to provide vital statistics consisting of birth or death certificates for persons born or deceased in Wadsworth. Reservations for park shelters, permits for zoning, building and sanitary sewer connections are also obtained at the Service Director's Office. |
