Street Department
Snow Removal
The City of Wadsworth has 90 miles of streets for which the Street Department has responsibility. We have 7 large snow plow trucks equipped with salt spreaders and 2 smaller trucks. It takes 12 hours to clean all streets in town.
Storm Sewers
Storm Sewer and Flooding problems are handled as a priority. If you have any problems with street drainage please let us know.
Trash pick-up
A city wide Trash pick-up is usually the last week in April or the first week of May. We pick up large items during this week on your regularly scheduled trash day.
Leaf pick-up
Leaf pick-up is from Mid October to Mid December. We usually come to your house five to eight times a season.
X-Mas Tree Pick-up
Christmas trees will be picked up two weeks after Christmas.
Dog Warden
We have holding facilities for six to seven dogs. The dogs are then transported to the Medina Co. Animal Shelter. Dead animals will be picked up at your request. Services are provided only inside the city limits of Wadsworth.
